Full house refurbishment with extension to basement and third floor. £450k budget.

Conversion from 3 separate flats into 1 dwelling house – includes whole house refurbishment, adaptation of existing basement to make habitable room, extension to rear at ground floor, second floor half width rear extension and roof extension to create new third floor 

Challenge

The Works include the design and construction of:
- Mechanical and Electrical installations including below ground drainage; - Steel connections; - weatherproofing including all lead-work and flashings; - Zinc coverings
- Electrical installations fully integrate "smart home" solutions, thermostats/cameras/door entry and sound system wiring.

Value

Our young clients wanted a modern and useful space that last a lifetime, have unique features, benefits from handmade craftsmanship and with the latest smart technologies features. We managed to complete this in a six moths time frame, which minimised the cost of the "bridge finance" over the construction period.
The new house features maximise the value of the investment and reveal the kind of home improvements that make economic sense.
